Fortune Hunters is a new weekly business program on CBC Newsworld (Canada) that showcases today’s top business trends and how those trends fit into the global economy, as well as how one could cash in on potential business opportunities in Canada. Unlike other business programs that talk about big business, Fortune Hunters explores these trends through the lens of moneymaking - discovering how people eager for self-employment are exploiting new opportunities.

Every week, they feature people who are hunting their fortune by creating companies and trying to cash in on popular trends. They also introduce 2 business experts who help everyone learn about the trend, and assess the odds of success for the Fortune Hunters. Then, the experts play a fun and fast quiz of trend news from around the world called HIT or MISS.

In addition, CBC Newsworld's Fortune Hunters program introduces a business brain who's already made it big. This segment is called MY FIRST MILLION!
